BUILT WITH PURPOSE

NIMS was designed and purpose built. Many different Montessori schools in the United States, Australia, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand were visited to ask administrators, teachers, and founders, what they would change, or what they would design for the perfect classroom. All of those ideas were pulled together and additional considerations for Chiang Mai were put into form. NIMS Facilities at a glance: • Positive pressure air filtration system to reduce or eliminate PM2.5 in the children’s spaces • Activity room with positive pressure air filtration system, for age appropriate recess during times of bad weather or high PM2.5 air quality issues. • In-class bathrooms for both boys and girls. • Fully redundant air conditioned spaces • CCTV for the security of the school and safety of the children • Tempered glass throughout the school--not just a film • Natural inspired playground to encourage gross motor skills • Even our sand is allergy free in our sand boxes on the playground--this is not construction sand. • Elevator for mobility challenged children/family members
